There are many books for IELTS preparation on the market, but only a few of them are the standard books that you will need. Below is a list of books that I recommend for your IELTS preparation. The first set of books are a must for IELTS and nobody should miss one of them. The rest are many books that you may find them useful.
MUST HAVE IELTS BOOKS
IELTS Cambridge Books: the only must-have books for IELTS exam preparation are the Cambridge IELTS books from 5-12 because the tests from 1-4 are no longer updated to the current exam format. These are full authentic IELTS tests published by IELTS. Each book contains 4 IELTS tests for you to practice at home. These books often cost more than other practice test books but these are real test papers from IELTS and not written by other teachers or other authors
OTHER USEFUL IELTS BOOKS
IELTS Trainer: This book contains 6 practice tests for IELTS as well as some useful advice for tackling the test. The practice tests are not officially published by IELTS but are still quite realistic and well-qualified. Also please note that the practice test materials in this book are for the academic paper only.

English Collocations in English
This book presents and practices hundreds of collocations in typical contexts and is ideal for intermediate level students and above who want to take their English to the next level.
A good knowledge of collocations (typical word combinations) is essential for fluent and natural-sounding English. Using collocations will improve your style of written and spoken English, and knowledge of collocations is often tested in examinations such as Cambridge IELTS. Learning correct word combinations will also help you avoid common learner errors. English Collocations in Use presents and practices hundreds of collocations in typical contexts. It is ideal for the IELTS Preparations of learners.
